The European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica - Gorizia has entered into a partnership with ZKB Trieste Gorizia.
The European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica - Gorizia is the first capital to unite two cities from different European Union member states, and it has now gained a new partner – ZKB Trieste Gorizia. This marks an important step in supporting cross-border cooperation and a shared European identity.
Bank president Adriano Kovačič emphasized that they share with GO! 2025 a vision of an open, creative, and connected community, where culture builds bridges between people. GO! 2025 director Mija Lorbek highlighted the importance of such partnerships for the successful implementation of a project that will leave a lasting mark on the entire region.
The partnership also launches a series of joint activities, including promotion, events, and support for the official European Capital of Culture programme.
