Paradiis, founded in the 19th century by Angelo Veritti, is an excellent winery in the Medio Friuli area, halfway between Udine and Lignano Sabbiadoro. With a 25-hectare estate in Paradiso, a hamlet in the town of Pocenia between Udine and Lignano Sabbiadoro, it produces distinctive wines from hard soils, ideal for low-yield grapes. Emiliano Subacchi, the young winemaker and owner, has successfully upgraded the winery while maintaining his commitment to quality grapes. The nature of the soil and climate, the care of each grape variety and the exclusion of herbicides ensure the production of wines that are typical of this region and contribute to the culture of Friuli. In a peaceful setting, the Paradiis winery features a sales outlet and a tasting room called "L'ultimo Paradiso" (The Last Paradise). Here, visitors can learn about the wines that are produced here and that are certified by CEVIQ, the Certification of Quality Italian Wines, which guarantees the best quality and sustainability.
