Parovel Vigneti Oliveti 1898 Tfvg 77131

Passion for our land and its fruits, both grapes and olives, has been passed down through generations in the Parovel family, an ancient family of winemakers and olive growers with Slovenian roots.
At the foot of the Rosandra-Dolina Glinščice valley, just a few minutes from Trieste, where millennia ago the Karst Plateau descended towards Istria forming the canyon through which the Rosandra River flows.
In this area, thanks to the favourable position of the land, the variety of vines, the inherent qualities of the soil and the temperate climate, a wine with ideal characteristics of longevity is produced. The grape varieties cultivated by the Parovel family since 1898 are native to the Carso-Kras DOC wine district: the sapid Vitovska, the aromatic Istrian Malvasia, the fresh Glera, the tart and colourful Terrano, and the authentic and structured Istrian Refosco.
If you are ready for a journey through taste, local culture, nature and people, you are invited to the winery to experience two worlds: wine and oil, the Karst and Istria. We offer tasting experiences of indigenous DOC Carso wines and DOP Tergeste extra virgin olive oils, surrounded by the peace of the Val Rosandra Nature Reserve embraced by the Karst Ridge. You will learn about generations of values, emotions, history and the passion that has always been linked to the land where the Parovel family belongs: the “Pastini di Barde” fields of olives and grapes that are the core of our farmland production, and the south-facing terraces tell the story of the Mediterranean, of mature grapes, and of structured wines with great ageing potential.
Please note: tastings only from Thursday to Sunday
