The Svevo Museum of Trieste is a documentation and study centre regarding the life and works of the writer, Italo Svevo who was born in Trieste, (1861-1928).

It conserves autographed manuscripts, the very rich epistolary, different editions of Svevian works made even more precious by handwritten notes by the author himself, family photographs, a few personal effects (a library bookcase, a violin, a golden pen) that belonged to the author.

The Svevian museum is structured into three sections, which respectively include the author's own books, the Italian editions and translations of his works, the critics' contributions, articles and press reviews. Besides this, the museum also takes care of spreading knowledge about Svevo himself and his works through thematic initiatives and exhibitions.
