Boštjan Kavčič is an established name in the field of fine art and sculpture in Slovenia. He co-creates in harmony with nature and reminds us that we are the guardians of the planet.

Boštjan Kavčič, born in 1973, embarked on an unusual educational journey after primary school in Tolmin. After graduating from an electrical engineering school, his path led him to study economics, where he successfully completed a degree in banking.

In 2003, he turned his attention to creative waters and graduated in sculpture from Prof. Lujo Vodopivec. During his studies, he further studied with Marko Pogačnik and Dragan Živadinov and was awarded the university's Prešeren Prize for Sculpture. His postgraduate studies led him to Prof. Srečo Dragan, where he researched video and new media.

Boštjan Kavčič is an established name in the field of fine art in Slovenia. His poetics has matured to such an extent that he is quickly recognised even by those who do not regularly follow the local art scene. The artist is skilled in large-scale sculptures, having already created a number of public and monumental sculptures at home and abroad.

He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, international symposia and has been awarded several art prizes. His works are included in private and public collections of museums and galleries.

As a member of DLUL - the Ljubljana Society of Artists and ZDSLU - the Association of Slovenian Artists' Societies, he believes that it is possible to coexist in the world in a way that restores a harmonious balance, and he has decided to contribute to this, as best he can, by creating stone sculptures and placing them in space.

He moved with his family from the city to the countryside, where he co-creates in harmony with nature. During this time he has established a well-rounded system of ORGanisms throughout Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Serbia and Montenegro, creatively raising the frequency of the planet and human consciousness.

His ORGanisms bring us back to where we have been before and where we will have to go again in the future if we want to survive. They help us to understand who we really are and make us aware of our long forgotten basic purpose. That we are the guardians of the planet.
