Uno sguardo sul Merletto Goriziano

A look at Merletto Goriziano is an exhibition organized by the Municipality of Mossa and ERPAC - Regional Authority for the Cultural Heritage of FVG. The exhibition is a tribute to Merletto Goriziano, an authentic jewel of the local artisan tradition.

The visitor will find a unique exhibition itinerary that tells the story and evolution of bobbin lace, from its introduction in Gorizia in 1672 to contemporary creations.

Among the protagonists:

- traditional canvas stitch and half stitch motifs;

- virtuosities of the three-pair Flanders;

- modern works, such as innovative jewels and a mosaic for the table.

The exhibition also celebrates the importance of the Lace School of Gorizia, the beating heart of this ancient art.
