Be river, be multiplicity

Be river, be multiplicity

Workshop of narrated imprints on clay, for girls and boys 10 to 15 years old, with the artist Elena Chirila

The main protagonist of the border environment is the Isonzo river – Soča in Slovenian – whose waters are the symbol of the cross-border reality, flowing in both territories and collecting natural and human traces and identities.

A river whose clear waters were clouded in the past by the bloody conflicts of the First World War and by the polluting materials released by industries and sedimented on its banks.

Together with the artist and the art therapists and educators of Comfort Zone, a workshop for youngsters to explore the power of reconciliation that nature can offer to human beings.

The participants will be involved in the creation of a collective artwork that enhances their uniqueness and the value of collaboration for the development of an ecological thinking.

The clay, as a living material, will carry the memories of the river, welcoming the imprints of a new compound narration.
