Casa Netural Borderless: a day of dreams, readings and connections across bordersCasa Netural Gorizia, the cultural centre that promotes encounters between creative people, digital nomads, travellers and the communities of Gorizia and Nova Gorica, opens its doors on 8 February to celebrate the official inauguration of the European Capital of Culture 2025. This special event brings together culture, relationships and the dream of a shared future beyond the borders between the two cities, offering a day of exchange and connection through dialogue, reading and active participation.   10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. - Dreams without borders: the exhibition-performance Exhibition-performance where dreams and ideas from the Box of Dreams project will be collected and shared. During the event, each participant will have the opportunity to write their own dream and contribute to a collective imagination that goes beyond geographical and cultural divisions. A unique opportunity to reflect together on the potential of dialogue and inclusiveness, and to stimulate concrete action towards positive change.   from 4 p.m. - Literary immersion at tea time A special moment of sharing and reflection, featuring read alouds of passages exploring themes of encounters, cultures, different and equal humanity. Participants will be welcomed into a relaxed and convivial atmosphere, where they will be able to taste a selection of teas while listening to words that tell of a world that overcomes barriers. The readings will be curated by Paolo Verri (Director of the Fondazione Arnoldo e Alberto Mondadori), with the aim of stimulating reflection and emotional involvement of visitors and enhancing reading as a moment of reflection and human connection.   The opening day represents the first step of a long path of cooperation between Gorizia and Nova Gorica, which will continue during the year of the European Capital of Culture. Casa Netural opens a new link with Matera, already European Capital of Culture 2019.
