The boutique charcuterie, where since 1966 hams have been aged using traditional methods with the regulation of Karst air flow into the aging room, offers guided tours and tastings.
The boutique charcuterie is part of a family estate in the village of Kobjeglava, where since 1966, hams have been aged using traditional methods, with the only intervention being the manual regulation of the transition of Karst air into the aging room. In the charcuterie, in addition to hams, they also age pancetta, wild boar legs, venison, and chamois.
Visitors can enjoy guided tours of the charcuterie with tastings, a ham slicing workshop, and the opportunity to purchase products. In the estate's courtyard, there is a 300-year-old mulberry tree shaped like an umbrella, which enriches the experience with a story about silk production in the Karst region.
