Organic farm Zoff

Enter the peaceful Friulian countryside, walk through the narrow streets of Borgnano, a small rural village where the image of cars and factories is now a distant memory, and stroll along an avenue of green trees.
All this leads us to the Fattoria Zoff, a peaceful haven where the land, the animals, the seasons and the food are respected. For several years now, the Zoff family has been breeding Pezzata Rossa cattle and producing dairy products and cheeses that are far removed from anything we can find on supermarket shelves. The yellow, full-flavoured paste of the youngest cheeses releases the aromas of hay and freshly cut grass; the tasty Caciotta, decorated with herbs and flowers, recalls the meadows under blue skies that have never been exposed to pollution; while yoghurt, fresh milk and ice cream recall the genuine taste of their raw ingredients. In recent years, the Zoff organic farm has been committed to production cycles that are based on the principles of the circular economy for the nourishment and well-being of people and animals: producing feed for the animals exclusively from hay and grasses, creating compost for the fields, and crafting cheese and dairy products, as well as fine meats.
If booked in advance, visitors can visit the barn and enjoy guided tasting sessions of cheese, frico and other agricultural delicacies, all paired with local wines.
If you wish, you can spend the night in the Borg Da Ocjs farmhouse, which was once a shelter for the livestock on the estate.
