Cheese museum
The cheese museum (Od planine do Planike) is a museum of the Planika Dairy, which develops its delicious products from the centuries-old tradition of Poso cheese making.
The Od planine do Planike museum represents the thousand-year-old tradition and heritage of mountain grazing and cheese-making. During the guided tour of the museum, you can also see the old cheese factory with a fire under the cauldron and the archive cellar, where the old cheeses of Tolmin are ripened. There is also a mountain hut with all the necessary equipment for processing milk into cheese. In addition to everything mentioned, a short film is also presented, which vividly depicts the work and life in the mountains.
