BIEN Textile Art Biennial 2025 takes place in Kranj, Nova Gorica, Jesenice, Idrija, and Škofja Loka. The artistic event is heritage-based and sustainability-driven. It showcases textile art and the effects of textile creation through exhibitions, workshops, residencies, and performances. The central theme of the 2025 biennial is air. We traverse cultural textile landscapes, confront the essence of breath, enter the void, and allow art to become an agent of environmental awakening. The biennial features local and international artists and textile communities.
