Eta Sadar Breznik: Seize the Storm

The Slovenian National Theatre in Nova Gorica will host an exhibition by Eta Sadar Breznik entitled Seize the Storm.

On Tuesday, September 17, at 6 p. m., the Slovenian National Theatre of Nova Gorica will host the opening of the retrospective exhibition by Eta Sadar Breznik entitled Seize the Storm. Curator Lovro Ivančić close the accompanying text with: "Perhaps this retrospective exhibition is truly a love story - for oneself and others, for movement and exploration, for material and expression, and for nature".

After graduating from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Ljubljana, Eta Sadar Breznik devoted herself entirely to textile art. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, Poland. Since 1978, her works have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in the field of textile art in Europe, Asia and America, and have been included in numerous public collections and scientific publications. Eta Sadar Breznik is also the winner of the bronze prize at the Beauvais International Tapestry Festival and the Prešeren Fund Award.
