Concert by North East Ska Jazz Orchestra and RootsInSession (Borderless Christmas Lights)

As part of the official programme, we are organising a festive weekend full of concerts and other events. On Sunday, Christmas lights will be switched on. On Friday, North East Ska Jazz Orchestra and RootsInSession will perform.

On Saturday, 30 November 2024, at 19:00, we will enjoy the jazz rhythms of the North East Ska Jazz Orchestra. They will be joined on stage later by the RootsInSession duo.

The 16-member Italian jazz group NESJO first appeared on the music scene in 2012. It brings together professional musicians from the northeastern Italy who create Jamaican and African-American rhythms. This year they released their fourth album and regularly perform at concerts, tours and festivals all over Europe. RootsInSession has been active on the Slovenian scene for more than 20 years, since 2001. Its selectors, producers and DJs Pier and Fu have used their musical knowledge and charismatic performances to break onto many important club and festival stages in Slovenia and abroad.
