On Tuesday, 6 March, at 19.00, the screening of the film Kaj ti je deklica (Little Trouble Girls) will take place at the Kinogledališče Tolmin with Italian subtitles.
Shy and sensitive 16-year-old Lucija starts singing in a girls' choir, where she befriends the flirtatious Ana-Marija. When the choir travels to a rural convent for a weekend of intensive rehearsals, Lucija's interest in a dark-eyed restaurateur puts her friendship with Ana-Marija and the other girls to the test. As she finds herself in an unfamiliar environment exploring her awakening sexuality, Lucija begins to question her beliefs and values, which disrupts the harmony of the choir.
The film won the FIPRESCI International Film Critics Circle Award for Best Film in the official Perspectives Competition at the 75th Berlinale.
