Nova Gorica will host the 25th edition of the international festival of contemporary art practices.

From 7 to 17 November, Nova Gorica will host the 25^th edition of the Pixxelpoint international festival: Speculation and Decay. During the festival, they will explore the potential of fiction to reestablish relationships with our world, that is damage beyond repair. This topic will be elaborated on an international exhibition, experimental discursive programme, audiovisual and music programme, a series of podcasts, essays and workshops, connecting different generations, cultural and societal contexts.

The participants will explore the potential of the liminal forms of subjectivity and try to find a way to effectively reprogramme our narratives about the past, present and future. They will dive into the question whether intergenerational dialogue can prevent the destruction of the past and enable the present to envision new visions of the future. During cultural events, they will aim to effectively address traditional binary dichotomies.

Pixxelpoit festival is a part of GO! 2025 official programme.
