R.o.R Festival 2023

The R.o.R Festival is an international festival of contemporary, intermedia and performative art practices, which spans the fields of interdisciplinary and new media art.

R.o.R, the international festival of contemporary, intermedia and performance art practices, is back. This year's edition, titled CORE? includes a range of national and international renowned artists and scholars who present the chosen theme through their artistic and research projects – the Light Trail will shine in the centre of Nova Gorica, taking festival visitors through colourful light art installations; there will be sound and light performances and projections on the city's façades and elsewhere; Bevk Square will host the magnificent Museum of the Moon project, created by world-renowned UK artist Luke Jerram in collaboration with Nasa; Hans-Peter and Peggy Spitzner will tell us about their unique experience as the last known “refugees to escape over the Berlin Wall”; and many more interesting and unexpected things.
