On 30 May 2025, the exhibition The Shining Invisible City will open at the Eda Center.
Nova Gorica is a city of both fulfilled and unfulfilled visions. After World War II, Edvard Ravnikar designed its layout, avoiding both Western and Eastern models in favour of a new spatial approach focused on humanity. Many planned elements were never built due to economic constraints—yet these absences still shape the city today. The Nonument Group will map this seemingly non-existent Nova Gorica and make it visible through an exhibition and urban interventions.
