First theatre play from Dodecalogy 1972-1983 by Tomi Janežič.

From Friday, 10 January, onwards, the play 1972 from Janežič's Dodecology 1972–1983 will be performed in Slovenian National Theatre Nova Gorica, following a unique schedule.

The 1972 theatre play for one person is a transgenerational documentary fiction based on personal stories of the creators. It is a network of life stories from the 1970s that connect Nova Gorica to different times and places. It is the time of the Peyton Town television series, the construction of new apartment blocks, waterworks and the first motorway, the time of power cuts and radical political groups. The performance in the Adria caravan is the prologue of Dodecology 1972–1983, part of the Destin(y)ation / Touch of Destiny project, which is part of the European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica - Gorizia official programme.

At 18:00, Xcenter will host a discussion with director Tomi Janežič and the presentation of the book Kot bi bil tukaj začasno (As If I Were Here Temporarily), a collection of interviews with the director. The discussion will be moderated by Marko Bratuš.
