Fermentarium: Making a Mobile Beer Brewery

Workshop on how to brew beer in an easy way and how to set up your own lab brewery.

Our last official meeting on 16 January at 5 p.m. concludes two cycles of workshops where we learned how to brew beer in an easy way and how to set up your own laboratory brewery. Equipped with knowledge on fermentation and equipment, we will explore the technicalities of brewing.

We will learn where we can buy raw materials and other materials, and discover internet platforms and applications that can help us brew beer. We will test the Ispindel digital meter, which we made at the last workshop. This will allow us to monitor future fermentations in Bio/n from home. Of course, we will also bottle the last round of beer at the workshop and enjoy the fruits of our labor.

We especially invite all participants of past Fermentarium workshops, which we conducted last year. We want to talk about the community use of the Bio/n lab, where we could provide raw materials for further experimentation with the fermentation of different foods. This year, we plan to establish an appointment for the Open Laboratory, during which individual or joint work could continue on its own initiative. Come, we are interested in your ideas!

The workshop is free of charge and suitable for adult participants.
