Winery, where a winemaker presents her wines. There are no good wines without great grapes. All our wine is made from grapes grown on our own estate, which is situated on the hills at the edge of the idyllic village of Fojana, in the heart of the Goriška Brda. The prime south-eastern location, with plenty of sunshine all year round and crisp nights, offers the perfect micro-location for growing high-quality grape varieties. Most of the work in the vineyard is done by hand: from pruning in winter, green work in spring, thinning of the grapes in summer to the final harvest in autumn. We aim for a low vine load, appropriate for the variety and age. Five wines of different varieties and vintages are presented at a stone table with a beautiful view of the Brda villages or in the tasting room with a fireplace. It dates back to the excellent vineyard location on which the varieties Rebula, Sauvignonasse, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Merlot and Pikolit are grown. They are particularly proud of the local varieties of Rebula and Sauvignonasse (formerly the Tokaj of Friuli). Wine tasting is always accompanied by a snack of local delicacies - salami, prosciutto,frtaljia, white polenta, canapés... They are happy to show you around the cellar and perhaps the vineyards surrounding the house.  In addition to Slovenian, presentations can be given in English and Italian, in a professional or a popular manner, always with the aim of creating a genuine atmosphere and a pleasant atmosphere.
