Borgo San Daniele: an authentic immersion into the heart of Cormons and Friuli, where the territory, wine, and Alessandra and Mauro's passion merge into unforgettable experiences.

Born in 1990 from the passion of siblings Mauro and Alessandra Mauri, Borgo San Daniele has its roots in the land of Cormons, taking its name from the street where it is located. A deep connection to the territory, strengthened by the acquisition of their grandfather's vineyards, has guided the gradual expansion of the estate.

The vineyards, spread across 14 small plots within the prestigious DOC Collio and Isonzo areas, benefit from a unique microclimate, ideal for producing excellent wines. 

Alessandra and Mauro have chosen to interpret the vocation of this terroir through natural viticulture, respectful of nature's rhythms. Our philosophy is based on non-invasive agricultural practices: spontaneous cover cropping, green pruning, targeted thinning, long fermentations on the lees, and bottling without filtration, using natural decantation.

An approach that prioritizes quality and authenticity over market logic. Production, strictly organic, focuses on indigenous grape varieties and those that best express the characteristics of the territory, enhancing the orientation and altitude of the land.

The commitment to sustainability translates into the absence of synthetic products and the minimal use of copper and sulfur, favoring natural preparations such as infusions of horsetail, dandelion, and nettle. Our labels, intentionally limited, are the expression of an unbreakable bond with the land and a passion passed down through generations.
