The Makorič Inn is a hospitable place that offers a whole variety of local tastes. It is located in the centre of Orehovlje and uses best local ingredients on your plates. The reputation of the inn is spread all around, because they are known for genuine local cuisine, typical of the Vipava Valley and Karst. 

Spring menu includes asparagus specialities, omelettes, stews and even more complex dishes. Fish specialities, Vipava and Karst prosciutto as well as home-made dumplings are also excellent. Every meal starts with fresh home-baked bread. In May and June you simply have to find time to visit and enjoy the excellent garden fruits from Orehovlje and experience the mystery of the detoxifying and aphrodisiac delicacies of Miren Kras at the traditional Days of Asparagus. Prior reservation for groups with over 10 people is necessary.
