The project aims to implement activities to support the animation industry in achieving further development of the sector, by fostering international cooperation, promoting young talent, professional mobility, and skill transfer, and creating tools for closer cooperation between the public, private, and non-governmental sectors.
The goals of the project are to increase the number of international collaborations in the field of animation, in particular between Slovenia and Italy and more widely in the region, including Central Europe and the Western Balkans; to create tools (events and information) to inform the public about creators, producers, and projects; to facilitate the transition of young graduates and other interested parties into the industry; to increase the mobility of creative and performing staff within the industry in the region; to support the development of the content of animation projects; and to place the region on the wider European map of the animation industry.
The project is implemented by the Slovenian Animated Film Association (DSAF).
