Cross-Border Dialogues: From Art to Science project will feature a talk entitled Dialogue from Art to Social Sciences (Oltre i Confini: un dialogo tra Arte e Scienze Sociali), and The Celebration of the Border (Festa di confine) performance.

The talk, entitled Beyond Borders: Dialogue from Art to Social Sciences (Oltre i Confini: un dialogo tra Arte e Scienze Sociali), will take place on 3 September at 11 a.m. The aim of the dialogue will be to explore the meaning of the border, its conceptual and geopolitical significance, its representations, as well as everyday experiences of border communities. The event is organised by the Istituto di Sociologia Internazionale di Gorizia (Institute of International Sociology of Gorizia) and will feature the Institute's Director, Daniele Del Bianco, and Senior Research, Lorenzo De Sabbata.

The performance entitled The Celebration of the Border (Festa di confine) will take place on Saturday, 7 September, at 7 p. m. at the Teatro dei Borgia. The play will explore and analyse the concept of a border as a complex structure of material and immaterial elements and compare it to the theme of celebration, a primary human need. The performance will take us to a free and peaceful time. The conductors of the play are Elenta Cotugno and Gianpiero Borgia.

The event, which is a part of the official GO! 2025 programme, is organised by ArtistiAssociati.

Both events will be held in Italian.
