EPIC is looking for co-creators

EPIC is looking for co-creators

The EPIC Cultural Centre, one of the key projects of the European Capital of Culture GO! 2025, will open its doors in May next year and will be based on the presentation of the memories of the people of Goriška about the events of the 20th century.

The exhibition project will include:

  • Life stories of individuals: personal narratives and experiences that will shed light on key moments of the last century.
  • Historical outline of key events: a look at important events that shaped the history and identity of the border area.
  • Interpretations of processes: different perspectives and analyses of historical processes and personal views on the origins of the border.

We invite all interested parties who want to actively contribute to the creation of this unique project to join us. Historians, ethnologists, anthropologists and other professionals interested in collecting and interpreting life stories are particularly welcome. Students of these fields of study are also welcome. If you would like to participate in the preparation of the exhibition and the formative activities and contribute your knowledge, views and texts on the subject, we invite you to join us in co-creating EPIC.

Participation will be on a fee-paying basis and applications with a short CV and a motivation letter will be accepted until 10 August 2024.
