A poetic documentary mosaic of the Halo landscape and its people, which reflects on the coexistence of the past and the present in the collective memory of a community through the intertwining of the individual and the collective. The film takes as its starting point the photographs of Stojan Kerbler, the poetry of Franže Forstnerič, the director's grandfather, and the stories of Halo residents of different generations. The film was awarded the Vesna for Best Documentary at the recent Portorož Festival of Slovenian Film.

About the director Vid Hajnšek (born 1991, Maribor) has a Master's degree in film directing and has found his cinematic expression in documentary film. His MA film The End was awarded the Frantz Brenk Prize, and he made his feature debut with a documentary about the Argentinian writer of Slovenian roots, Alejandra Laurencich, entitled Alejandra (directed by Klemen Brvar and Vid Hajnšek). During his studies, he worked as an assistant director on various student feature films, television dramas and theatre productions, and outside his studies he worked as an assistant director on Oroslan (directed by Matjaž Ivanišin) and as an actor on I Play, I Am (directed by Miroslav Mandić).
