Interpretive readings of the stories will transport us to the world of vedomci, more, krivopete and other mythical creatures that seem to have disappeared long ago.

The richness of the narrative traditions of the various languages spoken in the Gorizia Region and the vividness of the customs that have been preserved, written down or revived, will be revealed in a conversation between researchers of (folklore) traditions from both sides of the border.

Participants: Barbara Ivančič Kutin (ZRC SAZU), Roberto Dapit (University of Udine), Donatella Cozzi (University of Udine), Erika Di Bortolo Mel (University of Udine), members of the Slovenian Cultural and Recreational Association Danica (San Michele del Carso/Vrh, Savogna d’Isonzo/Sovodnje ob Soči).
