On Wednesday, 14 May 2025, a conversation with Boštjan Videmšek will take place in the Knjigarna kavarna Maks as part of the Episkop project.
The discussion with journalist and war reporter Boštjan Videmšek will explore the issue of contemporary wars (in Ukraine, Gaza) and the elusive (permanent) peace, also in a historical perspective. As one of the most incisive critical observers and thinkers on contemporary crises, from climate change to war, he will discuss his latest book, Vojna in mir (War and Peace, 2024), which some critics consider as one of the most important books of the 21st century. The discussion with Boštjan Videmšek will be moderated by Petra Svoljšak (ZRC SAZU).
