Alexander Gadjiev in Vienna

Pianist Alexander Gadjiev's concert in Vienna: the ambassadors of GO! 2025 on international stages.

Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra
Conductor: Douglas Boyd
Soloist: Alexander Gadjiev, piano

The ambassadors of GO! 2025 are making their mark on international stages: pianist Alexander Gadjiev will perform as a soloist alongside the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra in the prestigious Golden Hall of the Musikverein in Vienna. In collaboration with the Slovenian Cultural Information Center SKICA in Vienna.

The concert will begin with one of the most renowned pieces in the Slovenian repertoire: Marjan Kozina's symphonic poem "Bela krajina" (White Landscape). Gadjiev will then interpret Aleksander Skrjabin's piano concerto, a composition characterized by classical structure, oscillating between rhapsodic exuberance and the delicacy of intimate themes. The program will conclude with Jean Sibelius's Fifth Symphony, a masterpiece by the esteemed Finnish composer, celebrated for its expansive thematic scope.
