Dialogues_across_ #2

The Dialogues_across_ are public lectures organised by the School of Humanities of the University of Nova Gorica.

You are invited to the second lecture in the second series of "Dialogues_across_" entitled The Past on the Market: Cultural heritage as a link to tradition and a market product. The aim of the event is to reflect on the rights and responses of holders of cultural practices and traditions, on the one hand, and the use of historical artefacts and heritage for profit in market relations, on the other. The guests will be Dr Peter Klepec and Aljoša Bagola, while the discussion will be moderated by Dr Jasna Fakin Bajec.

The Dialogues_across_ are public lectures organised by the School of Humanities of the University of Nova Gorica. Three times a year, they bring together experts from different fields to discuss border and cross-border issues. Through moderated debate, they bridge the gap between theory and practice and contribute to a new understanding of complex contemporary issues. This year's conversation is part of the Ab initio project, part of the official GO! 2025 programme, and will be held in Slovenian.
