Europe/Transalpina Square through the years

Following yesterday's visit by institutional guests, Transalpina/Europe Square is now closed to traffic due to the construction works. The mosaic in the middle of the square is also inaccessible. In the meantime, here are some photos showing the history of the square, which are on display on the construction site. These and other photographs are kept by the Goriški Muzej in the Kolodvor Museum Collection, which remains open for visits in the station building.

See you again in a new guise in early 2025!
