Man, man is everywhere

Hommage to Ig Gruden.

The evening at Kromberk Castle will honour Grudno's humanist message: the values of solidarity, dignity, brotherhood among people, and commemorate one of the most important Slovenian artists of the first half of the 20th century. During the museum evening, Elena Husu in Slovenian, Valentino Pagliei in Italian and on double bass, together with the interpreter Kristina Kamaladevi Mihelj, who also directed the event, and the youth of Nabrezina, the Igo Gruden Girls Choir and the Vihar Vocal Group under the baton of Mirek Ferlan, will intertwine poetry with music. The experience of Gruden's poetry will be enriched by the documentary video The Traces of Igo Gruden about the poet's life and work. The film was produced in cooperation with Kinoatelje, among others on the streets of Novogorje. The flag of Nabrezina, recently restored by the Goriška Museum for a permanent exhibition in Cerje, will also be unfurled for the occasion.
