The Walk of Peace—A Path to Peace
Roundtable on the topic of peace.
On Wednesday, 21 May 2025, a roundtable on the topic of peace will take place in Knjigarna kavarna Maks, as part of the of the Episkop project.
The Walk of Peace is a cross-border trail through the heritage of World War I – the Isonzo Front, created in cooperation with partners in Friuli - Venezia Giulia, which follows a 500-kilometre route along the sites of World War I from the Alps to the Adriatic Sea. Conveying the message of cooperation and tolerance, it is an example of good collabotation in an area that has seen more than its fair share of divisive historical processes. The roundtable will outline the origins and significance of the Walk of Peace and present individual testimonies from the Isonzo Front.

The event is part of the EPISKOP project, which is part of GO! 2025 official programme.
