The bienale from Idrija is beginning on Friday.

The festival features a rich variety of storytelling events, experimental and electronic music, interdisciplinary exhibitions and installations, and lectures on living with industry. The theme of this year's festival, which will take place as part of the GO! 2025 European Capital of Culture programme, will be Discarded?, as technological developments and innovations are constantly dismantling existing spaces, ideas, models, skills and relationships, which are suddenly being discarded.
