Opening of the Sister Cities/Communities Exhibition

The Nova Gorica Regional Archive is organising a cross-border travelling exhibition entitled Sister Cities/Communities.

The purpose of the travelling exhibition, which would be installed alternately in Slovenia and Italy, is to show the cross-border cooperation between the towns of the northern Primorska region and those of the Gorizia region, which dates back to the 1970s. Based on archive and field material, the cooperation and twinning process will be presented in detail, as well as the concrete events and activities that have been carried out with the aim of linking the two peoples.

The exhibition will be opened on 3 December 2024 at 6 p.m.
