White Rabbit, Red Rabbit

The celebration of the resilience of live theatre around the world.

3/13/2025

Every year on 13 March, we celebrate the resilience of live theatre around the world with performances of Iranian theatre-maker Nassim Soleimanpour's most successful play, White Rabbit, Red Rabbit. Without rehearsals, without a director, in different locations around the city, at the same time, each time with a different actor, with a sealed envelope containing a text the actor has never seen before, the internationally acclaimed White Rabbit, Red Rabbit serves as a bold theatrical experiment and a powerful testament to the transgressive and transformative nature of theatre.

White Rabbit, Red Rabbit was performed in Nova Gorica for the first time in 2023. This year, the performance will take place in three different locations, including the GO! 2025 Communications Office. The performance will take place on Thursday 13 March at 17:00.

The text by Iranian writer Nassim Soleimanpour, White Rabbit, Red Rabbit, has been translated into more than 30 languages and has been performed more than 3,000 times in some of the world's biggest theatres, by some of the most influential actors.

The entrance is free.
