The European Capital of Culture 2025 Nova Gorica - Gorizia took center stage at the prestigious f.re.e fair in Munich, featuring borderless flavours and a breathtaking performance by MN Dance Company.
Together with the Slovenian Tourist Board, the General Consulate of Slovenia in Munich, and Skico Berlin, GO! 2025 representatives showcased Slovenia and the European Capital of Culture project to the German audience. The event featured an exquisite culinary presentation by Michelin-starred chef Uroš Fakuč, accompanied by a fine wine selection from Klet Brda. The evening was elevated with an electrifying performance by MN Dance Company, that have left a lasting impression at the grand opening of GO! 2025.
"It is essential that culture itself is borderless, transcending conventional perceptions and encompassing gastronomy, tourism, and sports. Bavaria is of immense importance for our cultural tourism, as Germany, alongside Italy, is a key market. There was no better way to invite visitors to our borderless region than with the spectacular dance performance by MN Dance Company and the exquisite cuisine by Uroš Fakuč," emphasized Mija Lorbek, director of GO! 2025.
