We finally saw again grandmothers, cousins, friends and all the shops that were closed have opened, they bought all the brooms, the coffee, the sugar and the rice. Between 1947 and 1955 the border between Italy and Yugoslavia was almost impenetrable. On August 13, 1950, people gathered in the middle of the international border crossing in Rožna Dolina and mostly Slovenians "gushed" through the border and bought everything they needed in the shops of Gorizia, especially sorghum brooms. 71 years ago, the event nostalgically called "#MarchOfTheBrooms" took place. For this purpose, #ReservoirDogsBrewery from Nova Gorica & #AnticaConteaBrewery from Gorizia will organize a cross-border social event, where it will be possible to try 16 beers in a single cross-border bar: at our home, in #EuropeSquare. #BeerfestWithAPurpose #BorderlessBreweries
