In the past month we’ve made some new videos and it was time for a new GO! Live event. And what is a better occasion to screen new regional videos of our crossborder area than the visit of the international jury? This time the screening took place in Kinemax Film House in Gorizia. The documentary GO! 2025 – Life by the border portrayed the times of the effect of the closed border on families and friend, and beside other regional videos the evening was crowned by the premiere of our newest ambassador’s video – Ana Bucik; alpine skier and 2018 Olympian. But for some, the most important moment of the evening was the short talk about the International Architectural Competition by the representatives of the international architecture jury. Roger Riewe, the president of the jury, expressed the importance of European values in the time when borders in Europe were closing. Tomaž Kancler, the representative of the Union Internationale des Architects (UIA), talked about the prominence of the international contest on the architectural value for the area. And last but not least Luciano Lazzari, representative of the expert team, expressed the pleasure of this competition coming to fruition and of its’ importance for the local environment in the urbanistic and also civil point of view. We could not agree more – those are the values we want to tile our crossborder future with.
