Here comes the GO! 2025 web app! Stay up-to-date on the events and activities, restaurants and accommodation, and everything that makes the European Capital of Culture unique.
The WHEREVER YOU GO! web app allows you to navigate more quickly through the streets of Nova Gorica and Gorizia, and to discover what to see, where to sleep and where to eat in the first cross-border European Capital of Culture.
On the one hand, the website, go2025.eu, which represents the institutional face of GO! 2025, with an extensive explanation of everything the Capital has to offer: the projects that have animated the Official Programme since its candidacy, the history of the area, events and news. On the other hand, the web app, an agile and fast tool dedicated to visitors and local citizens, to offer in real time the key information on visiting and staying in Nova Gorica and Gorizia, and in the whole border area.
How does it work? You download the app (link here) and place it on the home screen of your mobile device. From here you will have quick access to:
- EVENTS: the app brings together, day by day, all the updates of the Official GO! 2025 Programme, GO! 2025&Friends events and the entire cultural (and other) offerings of the GO! 2025 ecosystem.
- BORDERLESS AREA: visitors will be able to plan their experience by choosing from more than 450 places to see and experience in the Borderless Area, 190 bars and restaurants, and more than 2500 places to sleep. The app also offers the possibility of sending an automated quote request to the accommodation facilities of interest. Each result is sorted by distance from the ECoC district, Transalpine Square/Trg Evrope, the undisputed symbol of GO! 2025.
- WEATHER & BORDERLESS WEBCAMS: 28 webcams are currently active (with more to come) to have a look at what is happening in the Borderless Area and get the weather forecast in real time.
- LIVE NOTIFICATIONS: by activating notifications, the app sends updates and useful information on the main events in the Capital.
- USEFUL INFO: the app collects the latest news on the Capital, a map with all its points of interest, directions on how to get there, and much more.
