We invite you to apply to curate the 20th edition of Mediterranea, the international biennial for young artists, which will take place next year in Nova Gorica, as part of the official GO! 2025 programme. There are two positions available, one for a Slovenian and one for a European curator. The tasks include:
- Concept elaboration starting from "Borderless"
- Artist call preparation and selection
- Exhibition coordination and event programming
BJCEM - Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean is an international network aiming at supporting the emerging talents with the objective of enlivening their cultural and expressive production, through the creation of spaces of encounter, reflection and formation; enhancing dialogue among the cultures of Europe and the Mediterranean and giving value and internalization to the territories included in this area. In order to be eligible candidates have to come from, live or work in one of the following countries:
Albania, Algeria, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Lebanon, Libya, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, North Macedonia, Palestine, Poland, Portugal, Republic of San Marino, Romania, Serbia, Syria, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Swiss, Tunisia, Turkey, UK, Ukraine.
