May 2025 be a happy and healthy year, filled with art, culture, and a sense of being borderless. Feel the pulse of our twin city with us as we rise above every obstacle and embrace the extraordinary – let’s GO! Borderless.
The year 2025 will be something special, unique, and grand for Nova Gorica and Gorizia. We are eagerly anticipating more than 400 events from the official programme, and at least twice as many from the accompanying programme. An amphitheatre is being built, the railway station is being renovated, and both cities are already hosting screenings, concerts, and (dance) performances. In addition to four flagship events – the February opening, the May March for Europe, September’s borderless tastes, and December’s festive lighting ceremony – we will walk the paths of smugglers, create the new, reflect on memories of war and peace, and focus strongly on what is very green.
From celebration to celebration, the year will be packed with content to delight even the most discerning local audiences and the most curious visitors from around the world.
